    usdm vs jdm crank pulley

    the one on the left is the usdm and the one on the right is jdm ... as u can see the hole on the jdm is wider ,, and the one on the usdm has like a perfect shape fit in ... ... also jdm has a pin that sticks out that goes through that outer circle of the4 crank ... look for the lil dot in the middle .. .. so as u can see jdm pulley is cracked and for fear breaking the new belt i must locate this pulley

    the one on the left is for a small nose crank, on the right is for a big nose crank. has nothing to do with US/JDM.

      Both my BPT and BP has the pulley on the right, which are both long nose.

            I don't know. I was just going to look at the BP proteges and tracers to see if any of them had a big nosed crank. If so then I would have pulled the pully for you

                what s the besst way to pop off the timeing guide ,, cause the small nose crank just slides off ..

                  ok so i was reading the hanes book .. its says to jam the fly wheel and then .. pop the screw off the crank and the timeing guide should come out but i dont wanna **** the timeing up ..


                  please suggest that tommrows mission to meet this weekends deadline to install the engine

                              I have both styles but mainly have the big nose pullies. I also have 4 extra alternators that I can take a pulley off of. Pm me if you are interested.
