    Spark plug gap?

    Hi Everyone,
I just picked a 94 323, 1.6L, auto, 2 door hatch. I didn't get an owners manual with it. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me what the spark plug gap is for my 1.6L?

    G.H.

      .036 oughtta be just fine.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

.036 = almost about the thickness of a credit card. A buisness card is .025ish I usually use a business card folded in half and make it a little tight. Works pretty well for me
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

I use one of those graduated wheel things they have at the parts store counters. Don't tell anyone, but I accidentally walked out with mine without paying :

that's what I use too, but I paid for mine. no worries, I've got a $700 pressure washer from sears for $10.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

you have to work there, and browse the inventory computer, looking for products with a x or z code, and zero price. I got lucky, twice. 7 drawer ballbearing side cabinet for $10 too, retails for $600. helps that I could look in our warehouse and inventory it all, and then go look up the numbers I didn't know (yeah, I was there long enough to recognize hundreds of products by their number).

Just as a btw, if you run one o them jacobs c4 coils, you can run a .042 with at least 18psi and it won't blow the spark out

those circle things suck. They're very inaccurate. Yes this is coming from someone who used a business card to check the gap but thats beside the point. Feeler gauges are the way to go.
