A/C Amplifier?... And R12

92 Protege, 1.8 Auto.

I'm curious to see what it would take to get the A/C up and running.
Looking through the schematics I see something called an "A/C Amplifier"
It has 3 wires.
Where is this located?

What is the for sure way of confirming this vehicle is R12?

And if it is, what needs to be converted for R-134?

Can anyone please recomend a good manual? I have this HAYNES manual, and the schematic for the 1994 an earlier is weak. I'm in chapter 12 looking through the schematic for the A/C system and I'm not sure if this lines up with my car?
In the schematic, a diode is indicated with the marker "35".
Where does this go or come from?

Do I have a good manual? Is there better?
Does someone have a good schematic for my 92 1.8 SOHC A/C section?

But it tells me thie file is damaged and could not be repaired?

Your end, I just tried it. Make sure you right-click and 'save target as...' The file is ~90mb.
