It came off a 93 protege with 124k miles on it. That **** was so clean that I had to snag it. Took about an hr and a half to yank it cause unlike my engine bay this one was fully loaded lol. Should I assume that since theres like no carmel color that it's been rebuilt not too long ago?

What are everyones thoughts? I was thinking of taking it down to get checked and if all went well I'd just clean it up and put all new seals in. Or do ppl think I should just have it rebuilt? I'd like to do some p&p work on this before it goes back in so it definetly will be taken apart.

looks clean as hell man. a good sign of a fairly recent rebuild is the build up on the valves too.

There's the normal buildup on the valves. Not too bad though. It all looks good. I'm going to call around today and find out who can check it for cheap. I paid 50 for the last 1 to have checked.

Fkn economy . The cheapest I found was 100 to clean and pressure check it. Then another 50 to mill it. **** it would be cheaper to just buy a rebuilt 1. Idk. What should I do? I was accually contiplating doing a how to thread on how to disasemmble 1.
