SOHC pinouts and wiring differences dohc vs. sohc

does anyone have the pinouts to a sohc 90-94 pro?
also what are the differences in wiring harness between the dohc and sohc?
the ones i know off the top of my head are,
the VICS and the dizzy has a extra wire for the dohc.
    thanks

you have to run 2 extra wires.

looking at the back of the 26 pin plug, with the clip facing up, from left to right on the top row,
the 4th wire is vics, and the tenth is the distributor wire.

there will be empty sockets in the plug where you can put the wires

it will throw a code, its the "home" signal for the ecu and without it the engine runs in limp mode. I have a picture around here somewhere with the pins highlighted but i cant find it

no the SOHC fuel rail doesn't work on the DOHC

As for pics you shouldn't really need them, read what I wrote up top and you should be fine. If I get a sec I'll see about taking a pic though.

on the dizzy plug did you just cut the hole plug off and splice for a dohc plug, or just somehow remove the plug for the 4 wire on the sohc plug, if you moded the sohc plug and tips on that?

I repinned the sohc dizzy plug. It was a pain, and somewhere I have pics of the mess I made, but I did it.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

Yeah I jsut pulled the rubber plug out of teh connector and replaced it with a wire/pin from another disty connector, went pretty smoothly.

where do you get the other wire for the VICS from? Is it a ground?

Yeah. just tap into the ground for the solenoid right next to it.
