    New Clutch! Luk Pro Gold(w/pics)

I put in a new clutch, and wanted something that would perform but not break the bank..
I find the Luk Pro Gold Performance line.(p/n 10-901 for the DOHC BP) i spent alot of time looking for info/reviews and most of what i found stated its similar to, if not better than a spec stage 1, and capable of 75% more torque than stock.
So i said F it im gonna do it, $190 thru Auto zone had it next day. Resurfaced the fly.... threw it in and couldn't be happier. It has slightly heavier than stock pedal feel, grabs a little under the middle of travel.
After putting about 500 babied miles on it I notice it engages very smoothly during normal driving, but lay into it and god damn does it grab, chirped 2nd and 3rd gear on quick shifts and very crisp shifts all across the board @ high revs...

Bottom line, Damn good for the $$ plus the lifetime warranty! Every one that's driven the car, including my buddy Andrew who also has an EGT have been extremely impressed.

And the old "DURALAST" stock replacement that came out with a bent finger on the pressure plate

You said its as good or better than a spec stage 1? Did you read what's the max tq you can throw at it? This might be something I could look inot more but its going to need to grab at least 250bhp. That's the most I would want to be real. This little vj11 might grab 225@15 psi with the tbird upgrade I plan on doing.

$150 plus USPS shipping from 12528 and paypal fees. Figure 20lbs shipping weight. May not be all that much of a deal when it's all said and done but if you guys are interested I have no problem doing it.

So what kind of power can these handle? I'm wanting a bigger turbo already and want to make sure I buy a clutch only 1 time.

you should be able to fit a clutch kit in a flat rate box.
