I put in a new clutch, and wanted something that would perform but not break the bank..
I find the Luk Pro Gold Performance line.(p/n 10-901 for the DOHC BP) i spent alot of time looking for info/reviews and most of what i found stated its similar to, if not better than a spec stage 1, and capable of 75% more torque than stock.
So i said F it im gonna do it, $190 thru Auto zone had it next day. Resurfaced the fly.... threw it in and couldn't be happier. It has slightly heavier than stock pedal feel, grabs a little under the middle of travel.
After putting about 500 babied miles on it I notice it engages very smoothly during normal driving, but lay into it and god damn does it grab, chirped 2nd and 3rd gear on quick shifts and very crisp shifts all across the board @ high revs...
Bottom line, Damn good for the $$ plus the lifetime warranty! Every one that's driven the car, including my buddy Andrew who also has an EGT have been extremely impressed.
