Details of what I got:
-2nd gen 1.8 dohc ('95-98)(nice clean JDM w/o miles)
-1st gen TPS adapted to 2nd gen TB. (2 prongs to "D" shaft, welded at closed position) On-off-on works like it should
-1st gen dist, coil , sensors, ECU, harness, etc
-cam timing set to the TDC,4 o'clock and 8 o'clock marks
-got fuel to the rail; none into cyls. I can hear the injectors working and they flash a test light Swapped fuel lines; no go. Pulled the plugs, turned it over, no fuel even with the butterfly WO
-got good hot spark
-The friggin 2nd gen IAC buzzes when it's plugged into the BG harness yet it's the same as the 1st gen (basic solenoid valve) Tried it w/o the IAC and no go. IAC just adds air to cold start no?
So there's something that's siopping this thing from injecting fuel and I'm totally stumped!
There's not a whole lot of BP parts around this country that's why I swapped the TPS and it's easier than adapting the 1st gen body to the 2nd gen maini. The bore transitions are different as well
If anybody has some insight to this it would sure be appreciated; need it running this wknd
