    Bellhousing is stripped

I've been trying to get this swap done since yesterday so answers as quickly as possible would be appreciated.

The transmission that was sold to me was missing two of the bolts in the bellhousing. When I went to replace them with bolts from the tranny that just came out I learned that the threads in the bell housing are stripped and I can't tighten the two bolts. So my question is can I get away with not having those two bolts in or is the tranny going to leak like crazy? I just want to get this done so I can go home and sleep, I'd rather not deal with swapping the old tranny on right now if I don't have to.

They are two of the lower bolts near the oil pan if that helps.

don't those go all the way through? you could just use a bolt straight through with a nut if that's the case. If not, I'd re--tap them. Not hard to do, heck even a shop would only charge 30-40 to do it for you.
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

if they are the smaller (14 i think?) bolts you should be fine, the roomates 323 was missing one and had 2 stripped and they have been fine

just remember to spot check the rest every once in awhile to make sure they are not coming loose

I'm running on like 3 ****ty hours of sleep on the couch in my bosses office right now so I just realized that they are on the clutch side of the tranny and don't hold any oil in anyway. Thanks for the input anyway guys, time to go drop this thing in.
