I know there's been a million threads on this subject (because i've read them all) but I keep reading about this single groove balancer/pulley that will fit the BP engine. I've read the festiva has one but I'm not sure if the festive has a big nosed crank or small one. I'm obsessed with reducing rotating mass from my current engine build and would like to find this balancer if it exists. I'm specifically looking for a single grooved v-belt balancer/pulley for a big nosed crank. Does it exist and if so what car can I find it in?

After more searching and reading the thread about mazdapr's bp swap the word on the street is the 90's festiva has the balancer i'm looking for. -

My protege is a track only car. No A/C or P/S. It already has the B8 crank which is about 9 lbs lighter but I want more (or less).Comment
