Better header for 1.8l DOHC? (pics)

I can get this header for $20, but I'm wondering if this is the same header off of a stock vehicle, or is it an aftermarket upgrade (he said it was from a "built" mx3).

If it's the same as a stock MX-3, I'll just wait and grab one from a junkyard later, if you guys think its worth upgrading to. I currently have the stock exhaust manifold attached to the BP engine that came from a 93 EGT.

If it's an aftermarket part, for the price, I would grab it and clean it up.

    Thanks!

That's just the factory header off a Tracer, is what it looks like to me... nothing special, and you're not gonna get any significant gains from it. If it was a aftermarket header the collector should be further down for longer runners...

That's a 94+ (for Escorts at least) BP exhaust manifold. It's a little lighter, and better designed, but you won't see much of a power gain.

Man, do i ever wish I could weld! It really would help me out a lot! First on the list would definitely be an exhaust.

But... I'm going to be stuck paying some overpriced muffler shop to do the deed with, probably, substandard parts.
