    WEird BPT problem

    I have a 94 323 BPT swap I have a gtx setup.

Sometimes while driving my AFR will suddenly goto 17+ for about a second, this happens at idle as well, you can sorta tell while driving as it hesitates for a sedond. It seems very random and doesn't appear to happen under WOT.

Is it misfiring? It can be ignition related.

Check to make sure both your TPS and AFM are behaving.
'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

              Ok Im having this problem.
Sometimes Ill be at idle and the car will drop to like 300 rpm and come back up.

Ill be driving along it suddently goes lean 17+ for a second, however sometimes it doesn't come back and the car dies and I have to wait a minute and once I restart it I'm on my way again.

I changed the IG coil, igniter. TPS is fine I just set it proper on the weekend,

My thoughts too. What shape are all your vaccum lines in? As a general practice it is good to replace all vaccum lines every so often to eliminate them as the culprit. I have a fuel pump if you want it. Just pay me shipping. Its is a new unit I used for about 8 months-just took it out to install my walbro a few months back.

It is a fuel pump for a 91-96 EGT though if that matters.

Ive heard that it does although that might explain my leaness at WOT over 4.5k rpm

Anyways I disconnected the waterr thermosensor well see if things improve

Make the 100 dollar investment for a walbro. That's the 1 thing I'm never worried about now
