    GTR rod ?

Im about to put the pistons onto the rods but i was wondering if there is a front or back to the gtr rods? They look the same on both side (that face the crank) but the other sides are alil dif one side has a F stamped on it and the other is blank. im sorry if this has already been talked about. i just want to get this thing together.

    thanks,
    C-dot

The stamps are on the side of the rods so you don't put the end cap on backwards. There is no front/back to the rods, only the pistons.

I don't know off hand, but if you're that far into the motor you need to pick up a service manual. You can get them at Auto Zone for like $20.

they should be the same, i'm pretty sure the bolts are the same.

...but i'll stop being lazy and dig through my GTR supplement.

            ....

i cant find any engine related torque specs in there, so it should be the same as stock.

Doesn't matter, as long as the cap matches the rod, they are perfectly symmetrical.
