    Spark Plug Questions

    OK, so apparently the plugs are bad on my car so I'm gonna change 'em out.

    I've searched the thread and i've gotten numbers like .35 and .28

    What's best for a BPT?

    ALso, what kind of plugs do you use? I'm more fond of the coppers even tho u gotta change 'em out every oil change, lol. work better than the platinums IMO.

    NGK BKR7E, period.

    comes pre-gapped to .032 which works just fine for most BPT applications. you can tighten it up a little if you have any spark blowout problems.

      yea stay away from the platinums. and you shouldnt need a tighter gap unless its boosting higher than 12 psi.

        i'm running mine gapped to .030 at 23psi with no problems at all. MSD blaster 2 coil, taylor wires, cap/rotor with brass contacts.

              regular price new in cali from Napa = $1 each.

              thanks guys got 'em at .030 and the idle is great!

              still tryin' to figure out why the car dies on idle after 20 secs tho...
