    engine swap AND manual to automatic swap

    recently i bought a 92 proto automatic fo $200. teh motor is tired and old i want to swap my freshly rebuilt bp w/ 5 sp into it. could i keep automatic???
    my fresh built mazda wont crank cuz of wiring problems?? i jus wanted a fresh motor in a stock proto with power steerin and a/c and cruise yay

    will i have any problem swapping for a automatic? or jus keep manual? as far as i m concerning teh wiring harness on teh manual 1's isnt telling my fuel pump to turn on?? i m planning to get one of em running so i dnt have 2 walk all teh time
    swapping into another shell!

      oh I might be able to help

      teh = the I think??

      Also a fuel pump won't make it not crank, that is in your starting system.

        goin to Auto... there's a lot more wiring involved and actuators, etc.

            throw away that auto tranny and use the 5sp manual one.

              I want to swap my rebuilt bp into a protege that i bought recently for $200. I was wondering if i could keep automatic? but i changed my mind i m going to do 5 speed swap! And finally i got the pump coming on! (havent try crank it yet) cuz i dont have battery charger my dad's out of town.
              swapping into another shell!
