did a lil bit of research..... and some calculations. thanks a TON for that write up by goldstar!!! very useful!!

    heres what i got.

    Primary tube Dia. ~1.39 in.
    Primary tube Length ~37.5 in.
    Collector Dia. ~2.41 in.
    Collector Length ~16.8 in.

these specs SHOULD be ideal for max output in the mid to high range rpms.

keep in mind these will be stepped as well. dont know what the specs will be on these yet but will keep updated

Jamie (j.sher350) Is building a performance based Long tube 4-1 header, I am the one building something temporary.

I was helping him with some measurements from the HO header and Hadoken and I got a bit off-topic on 4-2-1 headers and collection patterns.

If you still want to know why I am doing a temporary header, PM me.

I should send you a second gen BP mani with the egr fitting and see what you could do with that.

Here is my 4-2-1. It's an AWR FS-DE 2.0L header with the flange cut off and then welded to a Racingbeat Miata flange. It's not "optimized" by any means, but it seems to be performing OK and it was done extremely cheap. I have about $200 in the whole thing as it was a throw-away from AWR due to the flange being welded upside down. I'm very interested to see what you can come up with.

oh nice!! only thing im not liking about all the headers i see is after the collection....its just straight tubing.... from the research i've done, a megaphone design is highly preferred over just straight piping. nice smooth transitions and long collectors.

what would u want me to do with the 2nd gen header??

Design your header with an EGR fitting to fit cars with OBDII lol.

If you can make this fit, of course. I have a spare manifold I could send you if you're interested.

take a pic n pm it to me first.

i had only planned on making 2 of them for right now. later on down the road i'll prolly set up a bigger build and make more but if i got time and enough material i'll deff make one for ya.

i figure pics can give me a good idea of what im getting into. and save us both money on shipping.

either way.. if i dont get to it right away..i can make one for ya in the near future. i just got into a few projects and i got about a month left to get em done so i need to get these done ASAP.
