G-series speed sensor for an electric speedometer

I will be upgrading to a G-series and I was wondering what electric speed sensor could I use for it to work? Will the one out of the GS MX-3 work? Kia sephia? 2nd gen protege? If you have one let me know, as I would need one. Thanks!

I know the escorts had a 2-wire speed sensor, but I never did figure out what fed it the signal.

What about putting an ABS sensor on a rear wheel, and using that? Won't have to worry about wheelspin that way..
