    Anybody have an idea

    hey you guys im new to the forum and the true meaning of a noob lol but anyway im looking for a new engine for my '91 protege socs just wondering if anyone knows some reasonable prices before i go out and spend some money????? any opinions please let me know thanks in advance

      look for a 1.8L DOHC engine from a mazda protege or escort gt. prolly the best engine you will get for a reasonable price. welcome to the site by the way.

          if your going to upgrade then go either bp05 or fe3. around here you can get a bp for 200$. ebay you can get a fe3 for 800$shipped to your door. id say go with the fe3. or even the klde/klze v6. all engines here go for 200$ at the upull.

            lol froggi....he said budget build. and a klde/klze swap is a lil to much. simple swap of a bp05 (1.8 L DOHC) will do ya just fine man if ya need some advice on what to do to get a lil more pep out of it just use the search button on here. helps a lot. or you can ask any of the guys who are doin N/A builds. like myself, mx-3_4evr (antonio), froggi....haha and there are a few others. N/A is the way to go tho

              he say nothing about budget......just reasonable price......although im on a budget and im going all out eventually.......but ya bp05 is your best bet.
