    Possible new muffler

Hey guys, my car's muffler has a bit of a hole in it. maybe 1-2" in size. There is also a hole in the pipe near one of the hangers.
I have to take it in soon to get the E-test done on it and was wondering if this is able to be patched or am I goning to have to spring for a new muff? Any ideas on what a new one costs?

    Thanks

New muffler, and those are pretty cheap. I think they would cost about 30-40 for the muffler, then maybe a bit of pipe and time to weld it on.

I'd say get a new one. When you have a rust hole (even a small one), you know the rest will rust away soon! Doesn't pay to pay someone to patch it, then have to replace it within a year and pay for installation.
