I need to order axle seals for my 97 KIA sephia GS trans. Can I just order Mazda axle seals or do they need to be kia specific? Is there a reputable website to order them from?

Hey I have the same question ... I have bought a Kia 97 #K24 Tranny too . and am in need of the same seals for the axles ....
I have seals from a F-series mazda Tranny and they are the same dia. but the seal lip is a bit different than the Kia's . I am Curious too if Mazda ones can be used or if it has to be Kia specific.

yea they're vehicle specific since that trans under went a few changes. I do believe the 95 Protege that's BP powered has the same seals.

just looked up the seals and compared them to what i bought for my trans. same part number so order seals for your escort of a mazda, doesnt really matter1994 Escort LX Wagon

I bought some National brand/ Federal Mogul brand seals today and they don't have the dust lip is this a big deal or should I invest in mazda oem seals like I did last time?Comment
