What's up buddy I'm looking for a dohc bpt and I'm not sure where is the best place to buy it from.. So if anyone knows of a good website or store that would be awesome

I believe there is an importer in FL, but the easiest thing to do is just turbo your bp. There aren't any differences internally between a bp26 and bp05 other than the cams and the bpt has lower compression. So just wait until some one has a turbo and manifold for sale, but that just my years of being a budget speaking. My advice is: read up as much as you can on what others here have done. Find out where good places to buy all the components are and do everything right the first time. If you are ever not sure of a product, ask here. We have all made a crap load of mistakes and learned well from them all.

thanks but have the dx protege and its the sohc not dohc well that still be good to turbo. i think i read this right that you can take a dohc and put it on a sohc bp is this right??

Like I was saying, if you just do some research on this forum, you'll find everything you need to know about a BP swap. But to answer your question, yes it fits right in. You'll need the BP wiring harness and computer though. If you'll be turboing it, than you'll want to swap the tranny for the g-seires at the same time. That tranny comes on all DOHC models (escort gt, pro lx, mercury tracer, 323 gt in every country except US.) I won't go into too much description because it has all been cover 100K times.
