    No start BP swap (URGENT!!)

I just swapped a BP into my protege dx
it will not crank at all, the solenoid on the starter isnt even kicking out. im using a LX wire harness BUT im using a B8 ECU,

my question is, will it even crank on a B8 ECU let alone just run?

i gotta move in 2 days and gotta get this car running!, i think someone has a BP ecu in the state, but i just wanna crank this thing over.

It should crank with a b8 ecu. Lift the car, try hitting on the starter or put it in neutral jump the power wire on the starter to the solenoid wire.

The ECU has nothing to do with the starting circuit.

Do you have the starter wires hooked up right? Do you have the ground connected right?

Is the interlock/interrupt switch (park/neutral/clutch) connected right?
