Forge boost controller Help

Hey guys just finished rebuilding my engine and for some reason the car doesnt get into boost ( no more than 5psi @ 4500) I wonder if i have the boost controller plugged up right? Heres a couple of photos of the setup to help figure out! By the way i am using a td05-20g which is a bigger turbo than the vj-23 and i feel as if the car is sluggish all through the powerband and has no torque under 3500.... Is it too much of a turbo for the 1,8l ?

Ive Disconnected the whole thing and i seem to be getting a lil more boost (prolly the spring in the wastegate) COuld it be the wastegate rod that isnt tight enough and the flapper opens when exhaust gases pass through?

After disconnecting the MBC i found the spring in thw wastegate is good for 20psi! Holy **** batman. Anyways seems turbo is big for a 1.8l and i didnt rev it up enough (use to small spooling turbos) After 4000-4500 rpm it goes into full boost.

With everything working it will soon be time to sell this monster!

20psi? wow that sounds like an aftermarket WG actuator for sure hahah. Glad you've got it figured out!
