Sup kids, long time no see. Still have the 323 and its still running like a bat out of hell. Ryan can vouch for that..... Working on installing a Devil's Own progressive meth injection kit. I am curious as to what anyone's experience is with tuning for meth.
The info on my setup:
ECU- MS1 extra with 2 bar MAP
Boost- 17 PSI set at the wastegate, boost controllers are for pussies...
I set the controller to start 50% injection at 6PSI and rake up to 100% at 12PSI.
I do not feel like I should bump the boost anymore as I do not want to max out the map sensor and they're not very accurate when pushed to the limit. Furthermore I do not want to lose resolution on the tables by adding a row or two to the boost area of the fuel/ignition tables.
My plan is to bump the timing up a couple degrees under boost where the meth should compensate for that. How much do you think it is safe to start with? I am thinking an advance of 2°.
People say tuning to use the meth is dumb, what if you run out of meth blah blah.....Man-up
