Engine whistling

I disconnected the intake hose from the MAF to measure the diameter of the H box and the hose. Connected it back as it was, started the car, and the engine whisteled like crazy!!! First i tought that i didnt connect something properly but everything is fine. I reved the engine a little, the interesting thing is that the whistling doesnt increases with RPM, and after few stronger revs, it stops. Im asking you... WTF was that??? :?

did you check the hoses? maybe your car is saying "hey, hows about two cams"? j/k!
