where did you guys get...clutches?

where did you guys get your aftermarket clutches and how much did they cost. I am really looking for the ZP2-HDR6 6 Puck clutch kit (ACT) for a good price, but if anyone knows of another good brand that is not as pocket-emptying, please do tell. please answer with haste my clutch wont even grab in third gear if i which from second gear at 4500 rpm, need clutch, need advice

Try asking http://www.axronline.com if they can get it for you, they are good supporters of the Protege community.

If not, I got my pressure plate from http://www.genxmuscle.com/ . He went out of my way to get it for me (had it shipped right from the ACT warehouse).

ACT is ridiculously stiff...i wouldn't buy one again if I were getting another clutch. I might actually swap mine out for a exedy when I rebuild my tranny this summer.

I have an exedy now, I am just wondering if it can hold up to a turbo (7+psi).

How is the ACT in traffic?

From what I've read, the exedys are good oem replacements, and can hold more than stock, but are not up to the task of holding more than a few PSI of boost.
