seriously.. the only reason you would get so much slack for driving a car like that because you are a poser. you purchase 'gang-banger' 'bling-bling' rims, live in suburbia, and think it's somehow it makes a statement as to who you are? pretentious bull**** is what it's all about my friend. i mean, i understand a car can be a personal extention to your own personality and identity, and with an image like that, not a very pretty picture is painted by such falsehood/or a questionable life-style or existance. you wonder how people could be so outwardly judgemental.. but such is life and such is reality. i'm not judging you by who i think you are, i'm judging you by the presumption that you don't know who you are.

Wow after reading that nothing u said mattered....since when did chrome become gang banger rims? lol and Bling bling?...lol, how can u quite posisbly take chrome rims into him not knowing who he is...cmon. Do u cringe when a regal/cutlass/monte carlo drives in your neighborhood...because they are "gang bangers". How about he likes chromies, are u sayin that people who dont know who they are and are gang bangers dput chromies on their car. But i dont know him so u might be right.

mostly assumptions, but you act like you know him so well.. you're just as guilty as i. to me, there is no defineable reasoning in buying huge ass chrome rims like that. i mean.. whats that saying about somebody? most likely not a successful car sales man, a successful undergrad in school, or even somebody with a firm scope of who they are. i drive a plain, simple piece of ****.. it's messy, has a weeks worth of fastfood trash in it a week at a time, gets a power washing/soap bath every month, has about $800 dollars worth of stereo equipment in it, and thats about it.. no frills. i'm comfortable with what my car says about me.. kind of untidy... frayed around the edges, somewhat humble yet outspoken. thats character.. alot more than i can say for our poor friend.

I dont know his reason, but im sure some of it had to do with him wanting them on HIS car. What the reasoning behind your stereo equipment being worth more than your car. Tha might be idiotic to some, but not to you. You got to look at from both sides of the spectrum.

yeah, wow, i work two jobs spending as much as 55 to 60 hours a week on the clock and a social life that keeps me out of the house pretty much every night of the week, if i got out any more, i wouldn't have time to sleep or shower. oh, my sheltered existance, what the **** is a man supposed to do.. oye

I work 1 job, and play xbox all day and work on my car, cuz im not in school this semester. Props for workin 2 jobs, Mans gotta eat...what can i say. car its not the "worst" protege
Its not painted...ok spenones isnt either,
He has chrome rims..ok there are about 60 million compacts with chrome wheels on thiem.
He has a small 8' sticker right above the 3rd brake light...its no bigger than the clubprotege stickers that people have.
He has hoodpins..which is holding his hood on...isnt that what they are made to do?
He has some grill mesh in his lower grill area, its not an eyesore, it just needs to be redone...\
Neons in the wheels....nothin for that
There isnt too many things body wise available for 1st gens, and hes doin his appearance over performance (because i notice he only posts in the appearance section). And has done more body modifications than most. Again im not sayin your opinion is bad, im just tryin to see why everyone thinks its really that bad...there is alot worse around here.


And kevin whatever your on step down for a bit, and make some sense for once plz!
