    Project: Interior - Underway!

I was at the junkyard yesterday and finally found a decent set of black door panels to replace the ones I ****ed up. All 4 of them were in very good condition. $5 each - SCORE!! The pattern of the insert isn't the same as what I had (I had the grey inserts) but I think they match the car better. The seats don't match now tho lol...but I have mx3 seats waiting in Dallas that I just need to pick up which I plan to have recovered in black suede. I also scored myself the black mx3 carpet I've also been looking for forever. $10 - SCORE x 2!!! It's allll coming together.

Do you possibly have a spare drivers window switch? THe master switch? But good find. I redid the carpet on my doors- same ugly pattern as those- with black corduroy. They came out sweet.
Too bad I have AWD and you don't!

What did you do to mess up the panels you had, and what kind of condition are they in? I was looking for some of those, are you willing to part with them?

i would have done that awhile ago aswell, i like the styling a bit better, but HATE the integrated speaker grille. and well, now, door panels are just not important...lol

Looking good dude, are your gonna use the same stuff for the seats, for new door panel inserts?

I haven't decided yet how Im gonna do it. I might leave the door panels as-is if they end up matching or I might get some rit dye and just dye the inserts. dunno yet.

Yeah, I have the saaaame door panels in my LX.. I'm not wild about the pattern myself.. eventually I'd like to wrap it (along with my seats) in black or charcoal tweed... Good luck! I hate the stupid door pins Mazda has in that beast..

I got a set of the same door panels from the junkyard not to long ago. I think the pattern looks weird, But I think i too will dye them black.

your MX seats are the ones that are green in the mid. Panels look good btw.
