    Before, during, and after pics of my painted valve cover. Yeah I'm a little bord but oh well!


    Painted,


    Sanded no clear coat,


    Clearcoated,


    Finally Installed with the chrome bolts polished,

        It's actually red. The flash just screws up the colors.

                      pimp job dood. As kiddx said, what kind of paint? I would assume some high temp duplicolor or something.....
                      The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

                        Ok. here is a Daylight pic....






                        Kickass job on the ford blue valve cover. I thought about not doing the ridges and then thought, why the hell not! LOL!! I used Duplicolor 500 ceramic paint. Duplicolor is kick ass paint. Especially for engine parts and brake calipers!

                          i didn't paint my ridges. i think it looks better without paint on the ridges. good job.

                            What did you use to take the paint off the ridges and lettering? Did you sand them down?
