anyone ever make clear side lenses?

i've seen lots of people back in the day on escortracing and ERDT make their own 'clear tail lights' with either flexible translucent plastic (what you'd find covering the tube lights in stores and what not) and then people warming plexiglass.

has anyone ever tried this? is there a secret thread? all i've seen is the factory SUPER rare clear lenses, longside to the darkened JSPEC or E-SPEC ones which i'd assume their glass too?

but yea, i like my headlights, i cleaned them up with some rubbing compound and they look like new and are super bright with the 100/80w bulbs i put it

but i'd imagine warming and bending a thin sheet of plexiglass wouldnt be toooo hard, then its just a matter of putting pilot holes in, and maybe using a clear silicone with the factory seal???

I wouldn't do it ever. OEM is the only way to go IMO. Don't cheese it up.

BTW, the EDM corners are plastic too. Just the headlamps are glass.

hey mike, do you have access to j-spec stufff??? or know anyone who can get me a BP-T near the end of the winter??

im looking for the motor w/turbo intercooler etc, and ecu maybe even some other goodies that will help my progression

also for j-spec hottness just looking for whatever you might be able to get

Course man...I've got a line on a Familia garnish, front Interplay bumper, Pakeifer body kit (front and sides) and I should be able to get a BPT.
