that depends on the MX3 it came from,

if it had manual belts, yes

              if it had power, no

The carpet is a much nicer pyle, so it looks better, the 323 factory carpet is like felt from a pool table and wears thin really easily.

I have my MX-3 carpet pulled, but have to wait until my foot heals before I can put it in the 323.

The MX-3 carpet is BLACK!!!! And it also has a heel pad, which the 323/Protege doesn't have IIRC.

But are ALL MX-3 carpets black? I've always heard that they were, but the MX-3 that Wil is parting out right now doesn't look like it has a black carpet.

And every Protege LX carpet that I've seen has a heel pad, if what you're calling a heel pad is what's on the driver's floor under the floor mat.

Well some MX-3 carpet is tan...and I guess I was wrong with the heel pad...I've got a 3rd gen floormat covering mine.

                              Hopefully its not too expensive.
Would it be better just to get a new carpet on ebay for 100$ ?
