    16x6 with a +42 offset

How would these fit on a lowered 1st gen Pro? I know that the 01-03 Miata 16's look really good, but they are 16x6.5 with +40 offset.

Does the .5 inch width make up for the slight offset difference?

I found some cheap, nice looking, oem wheels when I was looking for the dam near impossible 01-03 Miata wheels for a decent price.

I just want to know how they would fit before buying them. i dnt want to have to roll the fender, or for the tires to rub the struts, etc.

    Thanks in advance

Compared from the factory 13x 5.5 steelies with 45mm offset, I will gain 3mm from the strut, but it will extend 9mm towards the fender. Not to bad. There is plenty of room there.

nice, may want to "roll" the inner lip of your rear fenders, i find the rears always have issues, not the fronts

That's funny because I had always experienced the same thing, but for some reason my new GT has the opposite going on. The fronts scrub badly, and the rears haven't scrubbed once.

Either way rolling fenders is super easy, and should be done on any lowered car, especially with aftermarket wheels, IMHO, to prevent any tire/fender damage in the future.
