Today I decided I was going to mount the GT seats on the MX3 rails thinking I was going to lower them. NOPE, turns out it is the MX3 seat itself that is lower not the rails. Here are a couple pictures to eyeball to see what I mean.
First pic is of the bolts and nuts I used as spacers.
Second pic is a comparison of the 2, the MX3 is on the right, GT on the left.
Third is one of the rail and spacers
Fourth is the original rail on the drivers seat. You need the spacers just because there isn't that foot thing as pictured here.
Fifth is a comparison of the rails again. The one with the blue tape is the MX3 one.
So anyone looking to do this, it is a waste of time. Its the seats that are lower, not the rails, as I had to find out the hard way. Hope this helps at least one other person.
