HVAC control unit

Hey all, My control unit was making me mad one day so I tapped on it a few times and now it does not illuminate. Could this be a relatively easy fix? Is there a connector just for the light and maybe I knocked it loose? I haven't taken one of these out before and from pictures of the unit it looks like a somewhat complex set-up. Any and all help is much appreciated! Thanks all!!

The bulb probably blew/broke on you, I've never replaced the bulbs before, but to remove the HVAC center unit out, you have to remove a good chunk of your lower dash. It's not a complex job by any means, just a lot of interior has to be taken apart.
