(cheap as she goes mod) at the very least a test to see WTF happens, you know hot coolant.. cheap plastic.... (possibly a bad idea)Last edited by Protoss; 09-21-2003, 02:14 AM.When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

ummm, well, you're current coolant overflow tank will actually sustain boiling water, fresh off the stove, so poor some boiling water into a funnel into a gatorade bottle and see if it holds . if that doesn't work, try your mom's old coffee pot
peace
p.s. despite the fact your an engineer, don't forget water boils at 212, your car rarely heats over 190
