Got some new (used) stuff!

I found a guy on eBay parting out a '92 LX, so I emailed him with a few requests.

*speedo-cable, speedo-gear/housing ($90+ from dealer)
*3 "MAZDA" center caps for my factory alloys ($75 from dealer)
*battery tray ($?)
*P/S window motor/regulator ($90+ from AutoZone)
*P/S & D/S window switches ($50+) from dealer)

I paid $85 for everything including shipping, everything was well packaged and relatively clean. Considering all of the above would have cost several hundred dollars from the stealership i'm pretty happy!

I might JB weld my old one, it'd probably be okay. My old cable wasn't broke... but it was off a SOHC and it kinda wagged... not too accurate

I already had the manual... so I had that exact same diagram in my lap when you sent it to me
