1.6L aint that bad....thats what i have in my hatchback and its not that bad, if u get a exaust, header, cold air intake, and some aftermarket internals, it should be quit quick....93' mazda 323 - stock 1.6L sohc, absolutely no mods

what do aftermarket internals have to do with being fast?
yes they could support a bigger turbo, but the turbo is what makes you faster. The internals make that increased speed more repliable. The current internals are good for 400 hp. Making more than that in a FWD street car is retarded IMO since the only place you could put it to the ground would be at the track with slicks...Comment
