    Should I switch?

This is a canadian LX ( USDM LX equipment with DX mechanicals)
It has some surface rust on the driver side and I think something with the mirrors, Engine has 250000KM (157K miles) and needs a new flexpipe
    apart from that everything works,

mine is the same thing with less mileage but this one's a 5 speed ,
so i'm thinking get this one do my BP swap once all works sell mine. I'm sure it shouldn't be expensive to fix the body rust,
    What do you guys think?

Oh yes the guy is selling this car for $550 Canadian

I am going to say go for it... taking in consideration that you have checked it out as you said you were going to and everything is well.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.

Go for it. You can find black doors in most junkyards, and that's all that needs to be done about the rust.

            Looks pretty good.

Ohh, forgot to say, if you do get the car and get doors from a junkyard, make the most of it and be sure to stuff the inside of the door with as many parts as you can. That's what I did with the door for my 323. My brother got a supra turbo fuel pump, a throttle body, some other stuff(It was a fair amount of parts but I don't remember what he got), and I got 2 chrome 323 door handles. $100+ worth of parts hidden in a $50 door. That's the way!

That is called shoplifting, because people steal they have to factor that into the pricing for paying customers.

                    Agreed,
This is one of the reason consumer goods prices are always going up

I agree also. That's pretty blatant. It would be different if it were something like, say, a speaker that was already in the door or something like that, but stuffing a fuel pump into a door is blatant shoplifting. Have some dignity.

On the other hand, if you really need something and they want way too much, go for it.
