91 1.8lsohc into 1.6l

I have a 91 protege 1.8l sohc, and a 91 323 1.6l sohc, i'm driving the 323 cause the protege has rotted away body wise, all thats any good is the engine and tranny, so i was wonderin if there is anything i could take off the protege and put on the 323 to make it a lil faster, any help is appreciated, thnx a bunch.
