    Astina GT...

Well... finally, today I "met" my very first BP!
As some of you may know (cuz i have written it several times) Europe is pretty much BPless
A friend of mine recently bought a 323F (astina) GT.
First he drove, its in pretty good shape, needs some care, it has 220k km.

Dont know why ( i guess because, here, im constantly reading about BP and looking at the pics) that engine is like a god to me (especially because its rare here). So, I drove it, damn... compared to my B6-E which is pretty fast compared to other european cars which are seen the most over here, this beast is awseooooomeeeee. 7000+rpm, VICS, the sound, powersteering, handlig, holy ****! I know that this sounds totally silly to you guys but this was a new page in my Mazda life so i wanted to share it!

I dont have any pics... its bone stock... 15" mazda rims, black

it must suck to be BP-less

Glad you got to drive one though! Good to know what you're missing out on

Maybe if you can get together enough EDM-goodies (lights, garnishes, etc...) we could ship one to you

I would like to ship that kinda stuff to you... but that is what you find on junkyards, Zagreb (my town) has 10-13 large junkyards and not a single mazda in them...

LOL, I also have 3 BPs. It's one of the most underrated engines out there. Forged crank, main bearing support plate/windage tray, forged rods, finned aluminum oil pan, oil cooler, variable length intake runners(VICS), stock valvetrain and bottom end can handle 7800RPM. It's up there with the SR20DE, or 4AGE. It's not the quietest or smoothest engine, which is why it's not used anymore today.

On a side note, I'd love to have an Astina......

very nice, congrats on seeing a BP first hand.

Now steal his car and rape if for your own.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.
