    first rubber layed

yeah so ive had my turbo on about 3 months now or so, in that time ive killed my tranny (litterally, i have another one in) ive killed 2 radiators, and my idle is lumpy occationally (im afraid to do a vaccuum test knowing that 3 months ago i was perfect a solid like 23hg)

all of that to say while i do drive it hard i try to minimize the total damage inflicted every trip out in my car, i spin my tires as little as possible (when its wet first is no good, when its dry i have to take it easy turning right in 1st) i dont slam gears (very often ) and i NEVER dump the clutch... not only that i NEVER try to hit second when i burn out not that i do

and all of that to say i was on my way home from work today and stopped at a light, it was a double right hand turn lane. the light turned green and there was a fairly frisky old man next to me (just watching him drive the past block) so i got on it... first gear broke loose like nothing so i went ahead and did it for the first time... i hit second on dry pavement... my tires (hancook hrIIs) dont really smoke that much and they dont scream but they were smoking hardcore and i left a nice dark LONG mark (yes i said mark, as in not 2 but i was turning when i got on it what do you expect)... *forgive me transmission for i know not what i do to your internals*

yeah yeah i know... i was turning and i coughed up the money for a turbo but i still know that it is an escort i drive (a beat up one at that) and i really dont feel like coughing up the 1500 bucks for an lsd.

although needing an lsd is a fun problem to have

I think it's funny when I lose traction when it's wet and the front of my car goes sideway instead of the rear FWD is a funny thing... Nice burn-out though. You have to do it sometimes, just to know you can.

I was being an idiot the other day while I had my 14's on the car and decided to kill my tires up a hill. At the light I let her roll a little and dumped the clutch... I spun my tire (one wheel peel) for about 15sec until I could'nt see a damn thing and the old guy next to me was cussing and swearing as he rolled his window up. It looked like a damn house caught fire, smoke came through my dash vents, it smelled a little odd, like burnt plastic and rubber. When I got home I checked the incurred damage and saw that I had completely melted my driver side mudflap
