    Removing Power Steering

Seems the 323 guys want it, I want to get rid of it, or at least bypass it for now...

My power steering pump has pretty much bit the dust. Until I can get it swapped or rebuilt, can I do any harm by taking the belt off and driving the car without PS? I won't hurt the steering rack, will I?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

I actually determined that it wasn't the PS pump causing my noise... Back to the drawing board... It's either my alternator or water pump. I hope it's just a loose belt...
