What model year is this car?

Excuse my ignorance, but what model year is this Protegé DX. I think it's a 1994 but I'm not sure. A friend of my daughter wants to buy her boyfriend a driver side mirror for his birthday but doesn't want to ask him what model year the the car is. She sent me this picture. If I am correct, the '94 Mazda Protegé DX driver side mirror was only manually adjustable & you can only buy a replacement for the mirror. Is this right?

Yes, a 94. Any 90 SE, 91-94 DX will work.

The 90 SE will work just like a 323 mirror, but the interior knob is different.

Suprisingly though the 323 (90-94) and the 90 SE share the same interior knob, which is different than the DX one.

          just FYI.

Minus the dents? That's hilarious! Also, what the freak did you take the roof off for? It's as if you wanted to do it for the heck/fun of it. That wasn't done during the accident, was it?

I have removed the resized picture that I had put on this post for Scott to use instead of the huge picture above.

Then click on Manage Attachments, remove your oversized pic and put this one in its place. That way the thread will not be so large that we have to scroll to the right to see it. Thanks
