Loose clutch pedal

hi!

My clutch pedal is pretty loose "on top" because (i think thats the reason) my mom used to hold her leg over the pedal all the time instead of using rest pedal... is there any way to fix this?

i'm pretty sure you can adjust that slack on the pedal manually with some tools, if you have a repair manual, check it out, i know my friends mx-6 had it.

Good info, I'm gonna get rid of the 2" of play in my clutch.

Ok, i`ve been playing with that thing... and there is something i dont understand...

There is one nut and a push rod, as shown above... when i adjust free play, my clutch doesnt grab untill i release the pedal almost all the way up... however, when i do have a lot of free play, clutch grabs at the bottom... its that "new clutch feeling"... but then pedal is very loose.
Am i doing anything wrong or its just the way it has to be?
