Fixed my exhaust leak...the manifold to downpipe bolts came loose so after tightening em up it's fine again.

Went to a junkyard looking for shift linkage for the 323 and the only one they had there was hit so hard in the front that the linkage was bent. My brother knows this guy that works at a parts place and said they have it for $40 so I'll have to do that...no other junkyard has non-broken linkage right now.
Also picked up a '98+ 626 leather parking brake boot and handle, installed them in the 323...powerwashed the transmission with my brother...

Took a 400 mile drive to Vermont and back for a set of Kosei's. I can't wait to get the pizza cutters off of my car and move up to a real tire.

They're the ones from the FS section, they came with Fuzion ZRi tires. Which sound pretty decent from the reviews I read. Either way 205/55/15 should be a lot more fun than the Bridgestone Potenza RE92's 185/60/15 I've been using. I know it's a big sidewall but that's fine because are roads are beyond horrible.

It will be a nice improvement. From what I've read the zr-i will be a good daily driver tire, and who knows, they would probably be good enough autoX tires to do some damage with (I've never seen anyone race on them though).

Come May we'll be seeing how they do for Autocross, maybe even a track day or two if I feel saucy and want to spend the money.

And education for me, I'm sofa King not a seasoned mechanic but a simple parts replacer. And decent driver.

That was a great deal of fun. The owner James is a great guy to know.
All jokes aside, James is only one of a few Members I've met of the Club.
And I'm impressed that I'm sofa king refined as a redneck, and older than most. Whoever said that young men today are young and brain dead are dead themselves. I've learned much from you peoples here, the Ladies also, of much knowledge. This is all good!
