Might as well change out the timing belt at the same time since you have to remove the cam gears anyhow.

timing belt is new...I replaced it not long ago....unfortunately I didnt do everything all at once.

But I do need to do my waterpump, so I figure Ill knock the waterpump and cam seals out in 1 day.

Cam seals arent on the same side of the dizzy... so if you're leaking on the driver side it has nothing to do with cam seals

Wonder wtf it could be then.

Its only leaking on the drivers side....

If its leaking around but above the distributor, its the valve cover, if its leaking where the distributor mates with the head its the o ring, and if its comming out the cap or the side of the distributor the distributor shaft seal is shot, which means rebuilt distributor time. There really arent any other seals that can cause leakage in that area.

I've had a problem with distributors themselves leaking. Not the o-ring, but the bushing inside the distributor. Three j/y distributors, all given the same problem. And I've seen it before on other vehicles. Only other thing it could really be is your headgasket seeping oil out of the side. I don't think that is a common problem, however.
