    timing mark?

    ok i hooked up my timing light just to check the timing. and i could not find the timing marks. wtf do i have to take off the plastic cover for the timing belt? the manual is very vauge it only explains the sohc and not the dohc....

    I bet you still have your a/c and powersteering in don't ya?

    That makes it a lil harder I hear.

    The timing marks are on the timing cover, so you want to keep that on.

    If you can't see it from the top, maybe you can see them from the bottom, or turn your steering wheel to the right, and take a peek in there.

      Remove the P/Steering belt, and you'll see it on the crank pulley.
      You can see it without removing the belt, but its easier to remove it.

        Jho's on the money, turning the wheel is the easiest way to see the pointer
