    car dies when turning right????

i know exactly what it probably is but don't remember the thread or instructions on fixing it. But it's your fuel pump/sending unit/lines. There's a funky problem when making turns where it cuts off fuel/has trouble pumping it out. I'm SURE someone will post the instructions. It's common with the escort/pro im told, although ive never had any problems with my sedan.

I'm not positive on the fuel pumps, but I'd go with the LX pump to be sure.

I do know that the B8 has a fuel injector rate of 180ml/min, and the BP has a fuel injector rate of 250ml/min. So the B8 requires less fuel, and might have a matching fuel pump.

Look at the pic below. There are two tubes 1 and 2. Tube 2 has a beige part as part of the tube. That beige section is the problem part, as I call it on the picture. It actually has that little brass metal round colored part connected to it. You were supposed to take the "problem" part of the tube off and replace it with just a simple rubber gas line as the link shows on the "after" picture of that other forum. I use the same username(mannydingo)on that thread. Read my comments. If you were going to put the same pump back in and not do the mod you should have, at least, purchased a new filter(it's called a strainer on fuel pumps). If I were you, I would just go buy a replacement pump that doesn't come with that stupid problem part. They come with a new strainer, I think. Once again, re-read that link and see my postings since I had the same problem.
