    escort fuel pump assemblies

    can suck my nuts.

i fought with the damn thing for at least an hour trying to get the assembly back into the tank, with my FD rx7 pump mounted on there. its larger in diameter than the stock pump, which made the whole thing like 1/4" too big. i ended up bending the sending unit and fuel lines, and i think the strainer is about to fall off, or fell off.

and at this point, its back together.... and as long as it works i DONT CARE that its all bent and retarded in there. the car has to have one half assed thing about it i guess.

and if it doesnt work... i'll drop the whole tank out and buy a fuel cell.

Yea, even fitting the stock fuel pump assembly in my old EGT took some work, you have to slip it in, and spin it while putting more pressure on one side...

I second the sucking of the nuts. Dumb Ford ****.

the only problem with those is they make the car reek like gas inside :/

i'm gonna put some gas in the tank and make sure it pumps at least... if so, its good enough for now.

dont worry dude, it came out 3495864 times easier than it went in. the problem is the larger diameter of the rx7 pump... you should be fine.
