    radiator fan wiring help

ok the guy that had my protege before me wired the fan up to a switch, but i want to wire it back up factory. can someone tell me where the 2 wires comin off of the fan go to? thanks!

this is the raditor fan the one on the drivers side not the ac fan.

P.S yes i know the reason he did it was because they werent coming on automaticly, so i suspect the fan relay or something along those lines needs replacing also.

Theres another way to have it come on automatically. Is to screw in a universal thermal switch into the unused fitting that is on the radiator, connect a power lead from the battery with a fuse link as safety to the thermal switch available connector.
While the unused connector on the thermal switch connects to the positive lead on the radiator fan while the other is ground.

Depending on the thermal switch range you might purchase will determine when the fan will come on. It will stay active even when the car is not running, the fan will run until the radiator cools down then the thermal switch cut the power.
