Finaly a NEW exhaust line

finaly a new exhaust, i made many thread here, but now i have it, 2¼ High perf resonator, high flow cat and muffler all by MAGNAFLOW. i found i guy on a forum who makes it for everycar. 390$

390 isnt a bad price concidering you're getting magnaflow muffler,cat and res. plus you get mandrel bent piping.

it should sound very good. the setup looks nearly identical to the system Jho built for his protege, which sounds excellent. nice and deep, no raspyness to it.

that isn't mandrel bent piping. that is crush bent. i built my mandrel system for less then 100 bucks on my 323. i had no cat and a 12" resinator.

ok i installed it at job today, the sound on idle i very smooth like stock but louder, and at 3.5/4 rpm wow, there is a ROOOOOOOOOOOOAWWWWWW.

I work in an exhaust shop, tried a few things, finally trie the magnaflow offset inlet center outlet ($78.00) with a insulated oval chrome tip (shop freebie). I have a 2.5" system w/cat, mandrel bent pipe off of the tubular stock manifold all made by me from scrap sections of stainless pipe from other jobs, bought the muffler after going through a turbo muffler, a dual angle tiped (looked best), APEXi fart can, and another stock one. the Magnaflow sounds the best, no droning or resonation inside. quiet while cruising but nasty when opened up. go to their site a find the Miata sound clip, it will give you an idea what it sounds like.

PS: So according to your list you are running 2.5, cat, no res and that muffler?!
